Morning Announcement (3/22/2017)

Mrs. Palmer Summer Youth Internship Students, are you interesting in working part-time this summer? Are you between the ages of 14 and 17? If you answered yes to both of these questions then the 2017 Summer Youth Internship Program is right for you! Get paid $7.25 an hour and fain rei-world work experience at a local san antonio business or organziation. Stop by Mrs. Palmer's office to pick up an application today! Spots are available on a first come first served basis so don't delay!

Prom! To all 9th, 10th and 11th grade student, prom is on April 22, 2017. The theme of the prom is Under the Sea. Tickets are available for purchase for $25 on SMART for charters. If you'd like to bring a guest from a different school, pick up a permission slip from Mrs. Palmer. Permission slips are due April 13th. No exeptions.

BASIS San Antonio Medical Center

We will hold a silent auction at the upcoming ATF Casino Night on April 1st! It is for parents only. We will be auctioning the following: • Reserved locker at the high school • Reserved student parking spot at the high school • A Harry Potter Costume Party with Ms. Paul, Ms. Dowdy, Mr. Mars, and Ms. Diaz (plus 5 of your closest BASIS friends)! • A BASIS murder mystery party after hours- with up to 1 0 of your closest BASIS friends! • Pizza and a movie here on campus- a fter hours- with your favorite teachers! • An Ice Cream social for your entire element! If you want to win any of these awesome Auc tions, tell your parents to come to Casino Night and bid! Tickets are on sale on the school's website or they can contact the element room parent.

Mr. Lemons Softball Game Today Today, the softball team plays Althos in the league opener. Come cheer on the softball t eam as they take on Althos at 5:00. For more information see Mr. Theis.

Mrs. Meredith Courtyard As you will notice, the courtyard basketball hoop is gone. We had to make way for the new construction area which will be a future, second MPR. Students are to stay off of the small curb wall surrounding the new MPR in the courtyard. Please do not jump on it, step on it, run or walk on it.
