Morning Announcement (2/15/2017)

Mrs. Meredith Kleenex Drive for current week Students- we are in desperate need of tissues! We are holding a Kleenex tissue drive all this week! Bring in as many boxes as you want to your AE teacher! 9th grade to Dr. Kardos, lOth grade to Ms. Ivins and 11th grade to Ms. Kinne. The element (or upper school grade) with the most boxes will win a popsicle party the following week! Remember, this Friday is the deadline! Bring in 1 or bring in 20 boxes!

Mrs. Palmer Spirit Week Next week is spirit week. We kick things off on Monday! The theme is Multiples Day, Find an friend, or 5 and match your outfits! The themes for the rest of the week are: • Tuesday- College T-shirt Tuesday • Wednesday- Superhero Day (dress as your favorite superhero) • Thursday- Throwback Thursday (wear clothes from a different decade) • Friday – Rodeo Day (wear rodeo attire)

Dr. Hamilton 9-11th graders Dear 9th-11th graders. Please come by for an informational session discussing UIL academics and TMSCA academics on Thursday from 5:30pm-6:30pm. This session will inform you all about potential for scholarships that are available. It will also help to inform you about all the academic competitions and how each one works.

Mrs. Palmer National Doctor's Day In an annual observation of Nationa l Doctor's Day, there will be a presentation by a member of the UT Health Science Center's School of Medicine faculty on March 30th . Each student attending the presentation will be given a "Future Doctor" T-shirt as a gift from the Health Science Center. This event is FREE and open to all BASIS San Antonio Medical Center students. If you'd like to attend, please go to our school's website to register. Deadline to sign up is February 24th.
