The Student of the Week Hunter Hall 6th grade Xenon! Nominated by: Ms. Simons Virtue: Determination: The quality of being resolute; firmness of purpose., Responsibility: The state or tact of being responsible, answerable, or accountable for something within one's power, controL or management. Reason: Hunter has consistently attended weekly student hours all through G2 and has increased his participation in class. Hunter has also demonstrated Responsibility by turning in every assignment on time and actively working as soon as he enters the classroom. Good job Hunter!

Mrs. Meredith Pick up and Early Release Students: Please remember that AFTER the second dismissal is over, students leaving student hours or clubs must exit the M-Z door. Your parents do NOT need to come inside. Only Late Bird students should exit the A-L door after the second dismissal. Also, next Friday, Dec. 16th is early release. School ends at 1:45 pm. Please let your parents know that you should be picked up right at 1:45 pm. Late Bird is available for those registered in the program but we encourage you to get picked up as this will be a very long afternoon in Late Bird.

Ms. Ervin Hamlet To see or not to see the upper school drama production of Hamlet and Mmmbeth? The show starts at 6:30 on December 8. Tickets can be purchased on Smart for charter. $4 for students and $7 for adults. Hope to see you there!
Dr. Kardos BASIS Speech and Debate Fall Exhibition The Speech and Debate club had their first exhibition of the year on Saturday. In Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Anton Perera received 1st place and Suran Somawardana received 2nd place; in Exptemporaneous speaking, Cyra Paladini recieved first place, Moeez Akram received second place, and Sophia Elenes received third place. We'd also like to recognize David Mikelson and Gabriel Gray in Public Forum Debate and lsobella Shannon in Original Oratory.
