BASIS schools are considered rather rigorous school programs. BASIS Oro Valley, a dignified subdivision of the BASIS schools, is ranked #1 on the Washington Post most challenging high schools. Although there is a hefty homework load and an abundant amount of tests and quizzes, the program’s true purpose is to help us get into high-tier universities. They complete their mission by supplying us with APs and challenging courses that the administration officers at the universities can recognize. Also, since we have all of our university credits attained before 12th grade, if we apply early to our prime choices, there is a high chance of acceptance. Despite the difficult circumstances at the school, the load actually helps us prepare for the amount of work in university. With all of these aspects recognized, BASIS will always be the right way to go.
