Softball for the Win

The Saturday of April 3rd, the softball team participated in a charter league game. They won 14-1 after about an hour and a half of playing. Orianna Lemons pitched, and Ella Allen played catcher for most of the game. Manaal Khan scored one of the 14 runs by diving straight for home plate. Coming up from the ground, Manaal was covered in red dust, but had a huge smile on her face. Through Mr. Theis and Mr. Lemons’ coaching, the girls on the team played hard and in the end, persevered.
